Empowering  young people as co-creators
to lead the future of global health governance

The Commission found that enfranchised communities and public participation are crucial for citizens to co-design the future of health governance.

Youth enfranchisement is an integral aspect of DTH-Lab with youth not only as benefactors but as partners in co-creating health futures.

By involving young people who are growing up in a digital world as key agents of change, DTH-Lab ensures its work is relevant to young people’s health priorities and promotes sustainable and equitable solutions for governing health futures with and for young people.

DTH-Lab has several access points for young professionals passionate about digital transformations for health and co-designing a future where young people flourish. Through our partnerships with youth led organizations, cohort of Regional Youth Champions, research fellowship and the global  #MyHealthFutures youth network, young people are not just benefactors of the work of DTH-Lab but partners in creating sustainable impact.

Youth Stakeholders

DTH-Lab works closely with young people from a range of backgrounds and disciplines through partnerships with youth organizations including the International Federation of Medical Student Association global and regional offices, WHO Youth Council, International Pharmaceutical Student Federation global and regional offices, Global Shapers, Yet4H, the WHO Global Health Workforce Network Youth Hub, Young Federation Public Health Association, Youth Health Organization, WHO EU Youth4Health network, and others through existing regional/country level networks of the Regional Youth Champions.  DTH-Lab also aims to further develop partnerships with a focus on G20 countries as it is a good entry point with political relevance and high populations of young people.
